BOTIJO DE PATIO parte de un botijo de terracota hecho en Puerto Rico hacia 1980 y preservado en la Colección Teodoro Vidal del National Museum of American History. El DLE de RAE-ASALE define el botijo como una vasija de barro poroso, de vientre abultado, asa superior, boca de llenado y pico para beber, usada para refrescar el agua. La gráfica reinterpreta esa anatomía funcional como una silueta original de patio con corrientes de aire y gotas, sin copiar la forma de gallina ni ningún detalle distintivo del objeto museístico.
